HUMAN RIGHTS IN CHIAPAS - February 18

 Human rights defenders are on the front lines in the Mexican government's low-intensity war against indigenous communities in Chiapas, Mexico. The Fray Bartolomé de las Casas Human Rights Center (Frayba) has been the key defender of indigenous people unjustly imprisoned and also of communities that suffer violent displacement.
